Accessibility Compliance Statement

Every directory layout is built using strict semantic structure. Pages feature a logical heading hierarchy (H1 to H6) and utilize standard ARIA landmark regions (<header>, <nav>, <main>, and <footer>) to allow screen readers to navigate layouts coherently.

All interactive control mechanisms — including team-finder tabs, sports filters, timezone selectors, and navigation elements — are reachable and operable via keyboard. We enforce highly visible focus indicators (custom high-contrast outlines) on active controls.

Team crests, event logos, and broadcaster icons are dynamically mapped with descriptive alternative text descriptors (alt attributes) pulled directly from our directory records, while purely decorative elements are set to null (alt="") to bypass screen reader clutter.

Our dark interface ensures premium visual clarity. Body text features a contrast ratio exceeding WCAG AA minimums (above 4.5:1), and our primary darkened royal blue color used for links and primary buttons achieves a high contrast ratio to satisfy AA and AAA readability guidelines.

All sports television match schedules and broadcaster listings render fully server-side. If client-side scripting (JavaScript) fails or is disabled, the core layout remains fully navigable, defaulting to a clean linear schedule display rendered in standard UTC times.

During active events, match scores refresh dynamically in our UI. Currently, these score changes are not broadcast via active ARIA live regions, meaning screen reader users must manually select the match card to read score updates. We are working on implementing aria-live="polite" on match score elements.

We use Phosphor Icons rendered as a ligature-based web font. While we add `aria-hidden="true"` to purely decorative iconography, certain standalone control buttons (like icon-only select boxes) may sometimes be read aloud literally in older screen readers. We are systematically transitioning critical controls to inline SVGs with hidden aria attributes.
